Skillshare Austin will be hanging out at
Treasure City Thrift (1720 E. 12th) for the afternoon, sharing yarn skills. The first half will cover the basics (learn for the first time, or help us teach if you already know how to knit or crochet) and the second half will cover more advanced skills, so bring your questions or projects you’d like help with, and we’ll talk about patterns, shaping, and more.
You'll have the option of contributing your work to the wool room.

Skillshare will be participating in First Night Austin by teaching craft workshops as part of an interactive sculpture downtown. We're looking volunteer teachers. You don't have to be an expert, if you know even the very basics of knitting, crochet, or hand sewing, and would be willing do contribute 1-3 hours of your time on December 31, please contact us.
